Seraphinite is the common name for the mineral Clinochlore, easily recognized by its distinctive deep forest green base and shimmery, silver feather like chatoyancy. It is mined in only one location in the world, in Siberia. In metaphysical circles, it is considered to be a powerfully angelic stone, connected to the highest order of the angels, the Seraphim.
